Annual Meeting

Sunday october 18, 2026
from 12:00PM – 3:00PM

at the Museum, Villa Avenue at the Prairie Path

12 Noon to 3 PM: The Villa Park Fire Department will be present with one of their trucks. The museum will be open for tours and checking out the exhibits.

12:30 PM to 2:30 PM: The Sky High Balloon Guy Balloon Twisting LLC will be back with his balloon magic.

1:00 PM: The Society will have a brief business meeting followed by a presentation by the VP Fire Department.

In Memory of Patricia Turen, Board Member

We are sad to announce that our long-time member and Board member, Patricia Turen, has passed away. You may remember her as the manager of Grandma’s Attic, our resale shop in the museum. Pat and her husband, Eero, were long time members of the Society, dating back to the 1990s. Both served on the Board of Directors for many years. In addition to Grandma’s Attic, Pat was always in the background, helping with the museum events.

If you are hiking or biking on the Prairie Path schedule a rest stop and enjoy the Museum’s outdoor benches and picnic tables under our pavilion. Be sure to look at our window history displays or come inside for a visit. Admission is free, donations are accepted.
